Day 24: A character who died and I wished they hadn’t.
All of them?
Ok, no. Some of them had to die. Even good ones.
I love Fred to death (no pun intended) but, they were the Weasley TWINS because Jo wanted to kill a Weasley, but didn’t want one gone.
Snape wouldn’t have been able to bring himself to make Harry die if he hadn’t been killed.
Dumbledore needed to let Harry take his own journey (Grandfather character)
But the one who definitely did not need to die was Dobby.
Seriously? He’s just a sweet little elf!
Day 12: A part that makes you cry
Well, does the entire series count?
No?
Ok…
Well the part that makes me cry the MOST, is when poor Dobby dies. I love his litte elf self, and when I first read DH, his death scared me. It marks the beginning of the giant string of deaths in that book. It kills me.

“The elf’s eyes found him, and his lips trembled with the effort to form words.
‘Harry … Potter…’
And then with a little shudder the elf became quite still, and his eyes were nothing more than great glassy orbs, sprinkled with light from the stars they could not see”

Day 2: Favorite Movie
Hmm this one’s tough…I think I have to go with Goblet of Fire, though. It’s different from the book, but the things that are changed are changed in what seems like the best way possible (although sticking with the book would have been better). Like changing the one who gives Harry the Gillyweed to Neville instead of Dobby, when it was supposed to be Neville in the first place. It gives him a bit more importance which he’d been lacking in the films. It also builds the Trio’s friendship up a LOT, with their ability to survive all those schisms. And Snape’s hitting Ron and Harry is just ridiculously hilarious.
